From early July:
The morning after the Bar J, Forrest, Erik and my cousin Mike got up at the crack of dawn to take a canoe trip on the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park.
They started off their morning by spotting a bear.
Don't worry, it's not a grizzly (no hump), but they were all very excited. I think that Erik lives to see bears.
The dam at Jackson Lake.
They saw a ton of river otters. I had to sort through about 100 pictures of river otters and came up with my three favorites.
Hello Mr. River Otter. Are you enjoying your breakfast of fish?
Lounging on a rock.
This is a crane. If Erik reads this post he can tell me exactly what type of crane it is.
Tons of pelicans.
Mt. Moran is on the left. For those that don't know, Forrest proposed to me on Jackson Lake underneath Mt. Moran 6 years ago.
My sweet hubby.
My cousin Mike took all of these pictures and I love how clear this one is of the pelican taking off.
The boys had a blast floating down the river. Erik went to work after their float, and Forrest and Mike joined the wedding party for a hike up to Hidden Falls.
