Inside a police car

Yet another interesting story from my job... this week I got to sit in the back of a squad car. Long story short, I was 1.5 miles from my car at 10:00 PM. I had to call 911 due to the crisis I was dealing with, and when the police came, they put me in the back and drove me back to my car. I felt a little strange because if anyone had seen me, they would have thought I had been arrested. I have always heard that the back of a squad car is uncomfortable, but my only complaint was the lack of leg room.

In other news... I got an estimate to fix the outside of my car from the superglue debacle - 1700 dollars. I have yet to get an estimate for the inside. Stay tuned!

I hate superglue!

This weekend has been spent trying to remove superglue from all over the place. I have superglue in my hair, my coat, the windows of my car, the outside of my car, on the seats of my car, the steering wheel and the console. For those of you who think that the glovebox is a safe place to store items from out of control kids... think again. That's all I've got to say.

And The Winner of Crappy Moustache Day Is...

That's right... Forrest.

Every six months or so, my husband and his coworkers have Crappy Moustache Day and try to create the ugliest and creepiest moustaches ever seen. Forrest won the first year, but last year gave up his bragging rights. I am proud to say that my husband won Crappiest Moustache this year. I haven't asked him for permission to post a picture, and I don't want to get into any trouble. :) But just imagine a moustache that connected with his sideburns, and you can get a good idea of why he won.
