I am laughing a little because I have totally been there! Boys are very ingenious when it comes to getting where they want to go. In fact, Ephraim probably thought you had set up the barricade as a new game for him. Just wait until he is dragging chairs to the kitchen counter and getting into things that were once out of his reach! Fun times ahead...
I just laughed out loud in my hotel room. I'm so glad he is a monkey too.
