I was too cheap this year to buy Ephraim a halloween costume since we were not planning on going anywhere. For fun, I put him in last years costume. It was a bit on the small side, but enjoyed seeing himself in the mirror.
Waiting for trick or treaters with Wallis. Check out how short the pants are.

October 1st
To be honest, I don't know how to write about today. I want to share pictures of what we did to remember my dad today, but I don't know how to adequately express my feelings. So... I'll just tell you that everyone was able to take today off from work. None of us wanted to sit in the house so we went to Lincoln City. It was a gorgeous day and we enjoyed playing at the beach.
Ryan and my mom tried to fly a kite but there was not enough wind.
I tried really hard to get this picture of Ephraim and I and it took several tries. What is missing is the shot right after this one of the wave that attacked us and soaked me up to my ankles. I was too busy trying to take a picture and not looking at the ocean. Oops.
Emily playing with Ephraim.
We went to Mo's for lunch, because my dad always enjoyed Mo's. We then headed back, Michelle had a volleyball game to coach. We stopped by Emily's favorite winery and some us tasted wine. We ate tacos for dinner and enjoyed talking about my dad.
